SWIMMER Shonagh Strachan took the plunge to raise funds for charity - despite a broken foot.
Shonagh, pictured, took part in the Rotary Club of Altrincham’s annual swimathon, to support the club’s charities.
The event was held at the Manchester Aquatic Centre last year - and Shonagh raised more than £800.
She split the funds between the Children’s Adventure Farm Trust in Millington and Rotary charities Her efforts were all the more impressive because she swam with a broken foot, which was only diagnosed after the event.
