STOCKDALES, the Sale based charity supporting people with severe disabilities, has launched its Volunteer On Your Doorstep campaign.
There are a number of opportunities available for people who want to help, from working in the organisation’s residential homes to fundraising and administration.
Emma Morris, chief executive at Stockdales said: “It would be great if local people would make 2014 their year by volunteering for us. Whether they can give an hour or two or a day or two, it would mean so much to us.”
Stockdales is holding a volunteer open evening at 34 Harboro Rd, Sale, on March 5 from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. Anyone interested in finding out more should call Natalie James on 0161 973 2296 or email natalie.james@stockdales.org.uk.
