CYCLETTA, the UK’s leading women only cycle series, has joined forces with Macmillan Cancer Support and the series of rides will now be known as Macmillan Cycletta.
The series returns to Tatton Park on September 28.
Olympic champion, Victoria Pendleton, who has attended the Cheshire event in recent years said: “It has been such a pleasure to be involved in Macmillian Cycletta so far. I’m proud to have been a part of it since the very beginning and am delighted to see more and more women continue to take up cycling.”
Macmillan Cycletta will offer a choice of three different routes - Novice (20km), Classic (40km) and Challenge (60km). Each event will also feature regular treat stops along the route, goodie-bags and knowledgeable marshals.
