THE Stamford Quarter will be entertaining children with a free pirate and princess treasure hunt on February 19.

From 11am – 4pm, two characters will be dressed up as a princess and pirate and will be roaming George Street handing out clue sheets for children to take part in a treasure hunt around the Stamford Quarter stores.

Children will be tasked with finding the stores and spelling out a word for the chance to win £100 to spend at the Stamford Quarter.

David Wightman, centre manager for the Stamford Quarter said: “We wanted to bring a bit of fun to the shopping experience this half term and children can take part in this treasure hunt whilst their guardians enjoy browsing in all our stores. Not only that, there is a £100 prize up for grabs so make sure you’ve got your thinking caps on to spell out the word hidden amongst our shops.”
