A GUNMAN robbed an Urmston shop.
At around 8.40pm on February 6, a man went into Best One on Princess Road in Urmston.
He placed a blue holdall on the counter, pointed a gun towards the shop worker and demanded cash and cigarettes.
The shopworker filled the bag with cash from the till and several packets of cigarettes.
The gunman then left the shop with the bag crossing Princess Road and down Balfour Road.
The man is described as wearing a small blue jacket with hood up, a black ski mask with only the eyes showing, dark trousers and purple latex gloves.
He was carrying a blue holdall and a gun.
Police are appealing for information and witnesses and have released CCTV of the incident.
Det Con Amanda Tootill said: “We have released CCTV of the robbery and would ask the public to get in touch with police if they know who may be responsible or who may have any other information about the robbery that day.”
