Reports on the Internet that the Labour run council are refusing to allow rival parties to put seals on the ballot boxes! Officials from the Electoral Commission apparently won't investigate....

If only the ballot boxes looked like the one in the photo in this article, then they wouldn't have to have 3rd parties put the seals on. Instead we have flimsy cardboard boxes, left unsecured overnight for any old Tom, Dick or Harry to delve in and throw away/shred the ballots of his/her choice....

Our electoral practices would make Robert Mugabe blush!

The Tories have lost themselves the next General Election by refusing to invest in proper re-informed ballot boxes, by clamping down on postal ballot fraud, and by ensuring only those with photo ID can vote at polling stations...
It's almost like agent Camoron wants Labour to win the next election...

Labour run council? Maybe in Manchester , is it the same in Sale? Conservative run council?

Could anyone answer a couple of questions for me?

Why was this by election run on Thurs February the 13th?

Why not the next week in the half term so parents wouldnt have to take time off from work because the schools had to close for voting?

Why is brooklands road school closed for voting when voting also happens at sale rugby approx 400 yds away?

Who makes these decisions without any thought?
