NORTHERN Rail has announced the launch of 23 brand new bike hire sites across its network and Altrincham is one of the stations.
Bike & Go, a nationwide bike hire scheme, offers rail users the chance to continue their journey on from the station by bike, and to celebrate the launch, Northern Rail will pay for your date to cycle away with you, free of charge if you hire a bike.
Alex Hynes, managing director of Northern Rail, said: “it’s exciting to see the launch of the UK’s first national bike hire scheme at some of our stations.
“Bike & Go is a great way to continue your onward journey and as it turns out, the perfect way to discover your adventurous side too.”
Users who register at bikeandgo.co.uk pay an annual subscription fee of £10 and £3.80 for every 24 hours of hire.
