50ft tree falls on house in Old Trafford
THE strong winds ripped a 50ft tree out the ground in Old Trafford at around 5.10pm yesterday.
The tree has fallen on the side of a house trapping the residents. Police, Ambulance and fire brigade came to rescue. There were no injuries as the house walls bounced the tree to the side.
Phone lines are dangling in the middle of the road. Cars passing by are warned away to avoid possible electric shock from them until this morning.
