A NEW campaign targeting older women to increase early diagnosis of breast cancer has been launched.
Be Clear on Cancer campaign reminds older women ‘don’t assume you’re past it’ and to visit their doctor if they spot any changes in their breasts.
Around 32 per cent of women diagnosed with breast cancer in Greater Manchester are aged 70 or over, and a lack of awareness of symptoms is believed to be one of the reasons for this.
