THE Women’s World Day of Prayer, to take place on Friday, March 7, will sweep the world with a wave of prayer.

This year’s service has been written by Christian women in Egypt and is intended, not just for women, but for men and children, too.

It will be conducted three times in Sale.

The first service will be at the Avenue Methodist Church, the Avenue at 10.30am, then at St John the Divine Church, Brooklands Road at 2 pm and St Mary Magdalene, Moss Lane at 7.30 pm. All welcome.

A great chance for everyone to share with others across the world this day of learning about the situation of women in other countries: to share their hopes fears, joys, sorrows, opportunities and needs and to turn their prayers into positive action. A service including worship, prayer and hearing about thier inspirational stories.
