Messenger Newspapers: Airport Academy is flying high Airport Academy is flying high

MANCHESTER’S Airport Academy has had success helping more than 100 people get a job last year and almost half of those people are now working at Manchester Airport.

The airport is in partnership with Stockport College to provide an academy where local unemployed people have the opportunity to complete a two week course.

Upon completion of the course, participants will have a nationally recognised customer services qualification.

Up to 18 people can join this free course each time and must be able to commit to 100 per cent attendance between 9.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday for the duration of the course.
