Wythenshawe and Sale East by-election - list of candidates
SEVEN candidates are to compete for votes at the Wythenshawe and Sale East by-election on February 13.
The by-election came about as a result of the death of the Labour MP Paul Goggins.
Mr Goggins, who was elected in 1997, died on January 7.
John Bickley is the candidate for the UK Independence Party (UKIP), Captain Chaplington-Smythe is The Official Monster Raving Loony Party and the Rev Daniel Critchlow is the Conservative Party candidate.
Mary Di Mauro is the candidate for the Liberal Democrats, Mike Kane is the candidate for the Labour Party, Eddy O’Sullivan is the candidate for the British National Party and Nigel Woodcock is the candidate for the Green Party.
