FOUR men - including one from Sale - have been charged over a ‘high-end’ cocaine and amphetamine dealing plot.
Raids were conducted at 10 homes and business premises on Tuesday, after police allegedly observed a £100,000 plus drugs deal taking place between two suspects.
Robert Wright, 49, of Bankfield Road, Sale has been charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine and possession with intent to supply cocaine.
Darren Bowling, 47, of Colne Road, Barrowford, has been charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine,conspiracy to supply cannabis, two charges of concealment of criminal property and possession of criminal property.
Stephen Barton, 42, of Brandy House Brow, Blackburn, has been charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine, transferring criminal property, possession of criminal property and the cultivation of cannabis.
Paul Bell, 48, of Massie Street, Cheadle has been charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine and conspiracy to supply cannabis.
The charges following an investigation by Lancashire Police’s serious and organised crime unit, codenamed Operation Victor.
This led to search warrants executed at homes in Sale and Cheadle and other areas in Sale and Wythenshawe.
Further raids took place at two homes in Barrowford, another in Blackburn, a car sales lot and a town centre bar in Burnley and a Hapton warehouse.
All four will appear from custody at Preston Magistrates Court today, Friday January 31.
