POLICE have released an efit after a ‘significant amount’ of money was stolen from a Sale pub.


The incident took place at the Little B pub, on Marsland Road, at around 9.30am on January 6.


One man walked over and distracted the landlord, who was stood outside, while two other men walked into the back of the building.


They searched inside and stole a significant amount of cash before they left.
The other offender left shortly afterwards.


The man who distracted the landlord is described as white, 5ft 11in tall, of slim build, mid 20s and clean shaven.


He wore a hat, dark blue coat and spoke with an Irish accent.


Det Con Dave Stevenson, from Trafford South INPT said: “The man purposefully distracted his victim as his accomplices stole the money. It is thought they walked off on the direction of Brooklands Road when they had got what they wanted.


“I would ask people to take a really good look at the image we have released.


“If you recognise him or think you may have seen him on the day of the burglary, walking with two others, I would ask you to phone police.”
