Get in the swim and help a good cause
SWIMMERS of all abilities are being asked to take part in this year’s Great Manchester Swim on Saturday, July 19 to raise money for Muscular Dystrophy Campaign, the UK’s leading charity funder into research into muscle wasting conditions.
The one mile long ‘dock-to-dock’ swim will begin at MediaCityUK and will finish beside Salford Watersports centre.
Organisers say it will be ‘an amazing opportunity to swim in a unique urban waterway’.
Swimmers will need their own wetsuit and will need to raise a minimum of £150 in sponsorship for the charity.
