THE ‘Underwear Rule’ campaign has been created by the NSPCC to encourage parents to speak to their children about staying safe from sexual abuse. It aims to give parents the confidence to have an easy conversation about a difficult topic.
Bernadette Oxley, NSPCC regional head of service for the North West, said: “There is a significant number of parents that we still need to reach.
“They play an important role in keeping their children safe. Our campaign has started to make inroads in helping to give parents and carers the tools to protect children.”
