POLICE are hunting three machete and hammer-wielding robbers who raided a Partington shop.

CCTV footage has been released of the moment three armed men raided the Co-op store, in Partington Shopping Centre, at around 7.50pm on December 30.

The men, wearing masks, walked into the store and demanded staff and customers got to the floor while one of the workers was told to give them money.

Cash was handed over before all three men ran off.

No one was injured.

All three had their faces covered wore dark hooded jackets and dark tracksuit bottoms.

Det Con Andy Warren from INPT North Trafford said: "The last thing both customers and staff were expecting was the sight of three men armed with weapons demanding they were given cash.

“Fortunately, no one was injured but a number of witnesses have been affected by it.

"Did you see these men run out of the shop and the direction they went in?
