POLICE have released two images of a man reported to have exposed himself to a group of young women in Urmston.

At around round 8.10pm on December 27 2013, a 20-year-old woman and her friends were walking along Stamford Road towards the train station when she became aware of a man behind them.

She turned around and saw a man was exposing himself.

The group quickened their pace while the man continued to walk behind them.
The woman and her friends then ran before they lost sight of him and called police.

Police have now produced two images of the man and are asking the public for their help in identifying him.

PC Clare Robinson said: “We have produced two digital images of the offender based on information from two of the witnesses.

“The two images are quite different; however, I am hoping that one of these does accurately reflect who the offender is.

“We would urge the public to call us if either image strikes a resemblance to someone you know or have seen in the area.

“We have increased patrols in the area but would ask the public to remain vigilant and call police if you see or have seen anyone acting suspiciously.”

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 0161 856 7655 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
