OLDFIELD Post Office, on Seamons Road, Oldfield Brow, is set for a revamp.
As part of Post Office plans to modernised the network and extend opening hours, the newly refurbished Oldfield Post Office will have three serving positions.
Two of these will be traditional screened positions and there will also be a Post Office serving point for use at the retail counter, which is available during shop opening hours The opening hours at the modernised branch will be 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Saturday, while Post Office service will be available at the retail counter from 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 5.30pm on Saturdays, giving customers an extra seven and a half hours of service every week.
Oldfield Post Office will be closed for refurbishment from February 17 and the new-look branch will then open on February 26.
During the closure period customers can use Altrincham Post Office, WHSmith Retail, 8-George Street, Altrincham, and Broadheath Post Office, Londis, Sinderland Road, Altrincham.
