A SUPERMARKET team from Sainsbury’s Sale has donated its Christmas decorations to the Cheeky Monkeys and Barton Clough Primary School.
The decorations, which were displayed on the store’s shop floor throughout the festive period, have found a new home.
Sainsbury’s Sale store manager, Nick Milner, said: “We’re delighted to donate these decorations.
“We’ve received great feedback from our customers on this year’s decorations and it’s great to ensure they’ve found a good home in the community.”
Ryan Chrysler, headteacher of Barton Clough Primary, said:”We definitely needed some new decorations and these ones look fantastic! I’d like to say a big thank-you to the team at Sainsbury’s Sale for this generous donation.”
The donation is part of Sainsbury’s commitment to ‘No waste to landfill’ which aims to divert all of its store waste from landfill by putting it to positive use.
