ALTRINCHAM residents are being invited to have their say on a blueprint to revitalise Altrincham.
The Altrincham Town Centre Business Shadow Forum has submitted an application to Trafford Council for a business neighbourhood plan area and the establishment of a business neighbourhood forum for Altrincham.
A six week consultation period on proposals will run until February 21.
If the application is successful it will give Altrincham residents a greater say in the future of the town centre, along with greater powers to choose where they want new homes, shops and offices to be built and how these buildings will look.
Helen Jones, corporate director for growth and prosperity, said “It is the early stages of the neighbourhood planning process and views and opinions are welcomed on the proposed designation of the area and the forum.”
