Paul Goggins
THE funeral of Wythenshawe and Sale East MP, Paul Goggins, is to take place today.
The service will be held at Salford Cathedral at 12pm.
The 60-year-old died of suspected brain haemorrage on January 8 after collapsing while out running near his home on December 30.
Labour leader Ed Miliband and former Prime Minister Gordon Brown are expected to attend the service.
The former Northern Ireland and Home Office minister was elected in 1997 and had previously served as a councillor in Salford.
