ROYAL Air Force Air Cadets from 145 (Altrincham & Hale) Squadron took to the skies when they headed off to RAF Woodvale, near Southport for their first air experience flight.
Eight cadets from the Squadron based on Mainwood Road, Timperley took to the skies in the Royal Air Forces primary training aircraft – the Grob Tutor 115e.
Flight Sergeant Simon Gleaves said “It’s great to see the look on the cadets faces when they get out of the aircraft after having flown aerobatics in the twin-seater with a highly experienced RAF pilot at the controls”.
