AN Old Trafford family home has been given a revamp by the Halifax bank and the charity Home-Start Trafford & Salford.
Eight managers from the Halifax donated their time to makeover the home of a Mum of six who was in need of help to decorate and improve her family home.
Home-Start Trafford and Salford, a charity who support families in their own home with at least one child under five, applied for the Halifax project and eight branch managers offered to makeover the lounge, hallway and two bedrooms.
The family are pleased with the results and the Halifax team also surprised them with a new rug, picture frame and vase following additional fundraising they had done themselves.
Kathryn Eckersle, Scheme Manager Home-Start Trafford & Salford, said:”The support has made a big difference to this family’s home environment which will have a positive impact on the whole family.”
