THE Fostering Network says more than 1,000 new foster families will be needed across the north west in 2014.
Figures show that at least 1,200 new foster families will be needed to provide stable, secure and loving homes for record numbers of children, in particular teenagers, children with disabilities and sibling groups.
Robert Tapsfield, chief executive of the Fostering Network said: “We urgently need people who believe they have the right skills and qualities to foster to come forward to make a long and lasting difference to a child.”
