A GANG wielding a machete and a hammer robbed a shop in Partington.
The three men, wearing masks, walked into the Co-op store in Partington Shopping Centre at around 7.50pm on Monday, December 30 2013.
They demanded staff and customers got to the floor while one of the workers was told to give them money.
Cash was handed over before all three men ran off.
No one was injured during the incident.
All three had their faces covered wore dark hooded jackets and dark tracksuit bottoms.
Det Con Andy Warren, from INPT North Trafford, said: “The last thing both customers and staff were expecting was the sight of three men armed with weapons demanding they were given cash.
“Fortunately, no one was injured but a number of witnesses have been affected by it.
“Did you see these men run out of the shop and the direction they went in?
“If you did, please contact police as soon as you can.
