ALTRINCHAM based singer songwriter Kirk McElhinney will launch his new album, World Gone Blind, at Manchester’s Band On The Wall on January 9.
Kirk’s highly-rated acoustic guitar style has been heavily influenced by his guru, Bert Jansch (Pentangle).
World Gone Blind has been co-produced by Manchester pianist and producer John Ellis and was recorded at Limefield Studios, a facility used by artists including Corrine Bailey Rae.
The launch will included a live performance by Kirk, who has become known for his free-spirited jamming style.
