THE owner of a Hale Barns wedding venue has been convicted for failing to comply with planning rules.
Mohammed Isaq, owner of Davenport Green Hall, was convicted at Trafford Magistrates’ Court on December 17, after failing to remove an unauthorised marquee from his property.
Mr Isaq was first served with the planning enforcement notice in 2010, but has been fighting to keep the marquee, which is used for wedding receptions, since that time.
