Trafford residents urged to recycle their Christmas trees
RESIDENTS are being urged to help Trafford become a greener borough by recycling their Christmas trees.
These can be taken to Stamford Park, Walkden Gardens, Flixton House, Longford Park and Hullard Park until January 30.
Real Christmas trees can also be recycled using the household green bin. Remove all decorations and cut the tree into pieces so it will fit in the bin with the lid fully closed.
Christmas cards and wrapping paper can go into the blue bin for recycling, except those with glitter/foil on or with batteries.
