Mayor's 'humbling' visit to Delamere School in Flixton
THE Mayor of Trafford, Cllr Dylan Butt visited Delamere School in Flixton, recently.
It is a Community Special School, one of three in Trafford for children with multiple learning difficulties including autism and visual and hearing impairments.
The Delamere Toy Library adjacent to the school provides a crèche service for a whole range of children’s needs and is able to work in mutual support by sharing some facilities.
Cllr Butt said “ It was a humbling experience to observe young children with complex needs being taught in a safe and highly adapted learning environment with dedicated teachers.”
