STAFF and pupils at Altrincham College of Arts have been able to celebrate Christmas on the back of a prestigious sports award.
The school was awarded the School Kite Gold Award for outstanding provision of physical education and sport for 2012-2013.
This accolade recognises that we have developed competitive opportunities through our inter-house programme that allows 100% of our pupils to compete in over 14 sports.
Sports catered at Altrincham College of Arts range from cheerleading and football to tennis.
The honour recognises the school for offering opportunities in developing sports leadership, officiating, and managing opportunities for our students to gain practical experience.
Head of PE at ACA John Stephenson said: “The above high standards and achievement have been due to all the hard work and dedication of the PE team.”
