PRIMARY schools across the borough have been performing their Nativity plays in the run up to Christmas.


Messenger photographer Sally Greenway has visited numerous schools in the borough and has thoroughly enjoyed capturing each festive moment.


Pictured are pupils from Tyntesfield Primary School, in Sale, who performed their Nativity play for parents and fellow students.


Altrincham Church of England Primary School held its Nativity play last week, putting a slightly modern twist on the traditional genre, as their 'Whoops'a Daisy Angel' Nativity featured Daisy the 'clumsy angel'.


Pupils from St Hughs’ RC Primary School, in Timperley, wowed audiences with their performance of ‘The Wonder of Christmas’ Nativity.


This year’s infant boys at St Ambrose Prepatory School, in Hale Barns, performed a musical Nativity composed by their teacher, Heather Harrop.


The Nativity was called ‘The Alien’s First Christmas’, which charts the journey of two boys who encounter an alien on their way home from a football match.


The junior boys from St Ambrose Prep also performed a carol concert and invited pensioners from the area to join them.


Year One pupils from Springfield Primary School, in Sale, delighted parents with their performance of ‘Not Such A Silent Night’.


Primary pupils at Broadheath Primary School hugely enjoyed taking part in their ‘Shine Star Shine’ production, while the junior students were equally delighted to perform in their ‘Mary’s Knitting’ Nativity play
