TRAFFORD Council, in partnership with community and voluntary sector organisations, is supporting the Warm Homes Healthy People project.
It aism to ensure residents stay warm and safe this winter.
The project offers volunteer assessors to meet people face-to-face, assess their care needs and be a single point of contact for information on draught-proofing, heating repairs, fuel debt advice and Trafford’s “Get Me Toasty” scheme.
The helpline, which is run through Trafford Carers Centre, is open 9am - 8pm Monday – Thursday and Fridays, 9am - 4.30pm, until March 31.
