EX-SLADE frontman Noddy Holder helped a children’s charity raise £5,500 at a quiz night held at Bowdon’s Cinnamon Club.
A total of 25 teams of six took part in the music quiz compiled by Noddy for The Children’s Adventure Farm Trust and was marked by his family and friends. Noddy and his wife Suzan have been Patrons for a year.
“We are totally committed to the work of the Adventure Farm, it’s such an amazing place,” he said.
“We were over the moon to hear that so much was raised, and thrilled to know that so many children will be helped as a result.”
Nigel Carr and his team from shoes.co.uk came out as victors winning a bottle of bubbly each and the coveted first team trophy, followed by a funky set by Lucy Mae and the Tom Cats.
