POLICE are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of a missing Timperley man.
Christopher Warburton, 50, was last seen at Wigan Infirmary at around 6.30am on Wednesday, October 30 after he discharged himself.
He is described as being white, approximately 6ft 2in tall, with short grey hair and a large grey beard.
He has tattoos on both arms, and is wearing a green t-shirt, black coat, blue jeans and trainers.
Mr Warburton is likely to be bleeding as he left the hospital prior to completion of treatment.
Detective Inspector Martin Reddington said: “We are extremely concerned for Christopher.
“He has left hospital prior to the completion of his treatment and there are serious concerns that if he doesn’t get the medication he needs within the next day or so that his health will deteriorate rapidly.
“We are urging anyone who may have seen this man at any point today to call police urgently.”
Anyone who may have seen him are asked to phone police on 101 or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
