Author Sam offers a guide to relationships
ALTRINCHAM writer Almond, 87, has come up with a sequel to his e-book, How to find a Wife.
How To Find A Husband was requested by ladies who filled in a questionnaire for his first book to guide men as to what they like in a man.
This time the men have answered similar questions very differently from their female counterparts.
Sam said: “In Chapter 6, I surveyed 120 males asking them to put in order of importance what they found most appealing in a woman.
“Personality came out top with sexual attraction, second.
“They have a point. Personality lasts. Sexual attraction wanes. Desire for a family came last yet it scored highly with the women.”
He suggests ladies should visit places where they can meet the opposite sex.
“ Go to night school, join a drama or hiking group. Even a church with social activities has men participating.
Happily married to Hazel for 48 years, he said: “ Getting married is the most important step you take.
“The problem today is that divorce is running at 50%.”
In his first book he said men should look at their appearance. They should not have dirty finger nails or unkempt hair.
“Males go in with all guns blazing. The say how clever they are, what wonderful things they do in their jobs and talk about successful conquests.
“They shouldn’t mention any of that. Girls don’t want a big head. They want someone who is going to be faithful, kind and supportive.
* How To Find A Husband is available as an e-book, priced £3.95 from Amazon.
