AN Urmston estate agents has teamed up with Davyhulme Park Golf Club (DPCG) to raise money for good causes.

Home Estate Agents, on Crofts Bank Road, has partnered with DPCG for the fourth year running, this year choosing to raise money for Francis House Children's Hospice and Kidneys For Life, both of which are Manchester-based
Stephen Groves, managing director of Home Estate Agents, said: “We're delighted to be fundraising with DPGC once again this year.

“It's really important for the team here that we give what we can back to the local community and charities.

“Working alongside the golf club and their members means we're able to come together to do more.”

Mr Groves added: “We're really keen to continue to support the work that both Kidneys For Life and Francis House do. That's why we're pledging to donate £10 each time we successfully complete a sale on a property between now and Christmas.”

Home donated more than £2,500 to DPCG and will now become the clubs official charity sponsor.

Club captain, Mike Goman, said: “Stephen and his team have supported our charity day appeal for a good many years and we're delighted by their commitment to us once again.

“It's great to see a successful local firm backing a community based project like this. I'm sure they'll feel right at Home as our official club charity sponsor.”

In previous years the club’s charity weekend has raised more than £7,000 for charity.

The years’ charity weekend begins on September 28, the fundraising total for which will be posted on the club’s website shortly after the event.
