URMSTON Partnership will be hosting the town’s first Food Festival on September 28 from 11am to 4pm in Eden Square. The Food Festival promises to be an enjoyable day out for all the family.
Over 20 stalls will be offering delicious food along with face painting, gingerbread decoration and entertainment from Rick Kevill and Urmston Musical Theatre.
The stalls will showcase a variety of cakes, sweets, hand brewed beer, pates and preserves, with hot food being served by Pancake Corner, The Steamhouse, De Nada and The Tim Bobbin.
Executive Councillor for Economic Growth and Prosperity Cllr Michael Hyman said: “Urmston’s food festival is set to be a fabulous day and promises to offer the very best of local food and drink.
"I hope that the local community will come out in force and help support some great local businesses.” *
