Timperley pub's fun day to support Francis House

FOR the sixth year running the Quarry Bank Inn, on Bloomsbury Lane Timperley, will host a charity day on Sunday, September 1, to raise funds for Francis House children’s hospice.
The fun gets underway at 12 noon, with attractions including a fun bus, games and a children’s entertainer.
There will also be a tombola, stalls, face painting and then a raffle and auction.
A Meatloaf tribute act will perform in the evening also.
Since the annual event was launched it has raised a total of nearly £13,000 for the chidren’s hospice.
Event organiser Anne-Marie Noon said: “It promises to be a great day and we are really hoping we will raise a lot.”
