Stretford and Urmston MP highlights wages 'fall'
12:40pm Sunday 18th August 2013 in News
KATE Green, MP for Stretford and Urmston, says families are feeling the pinch.
She highlighted Office for Budget Responsibility forecasts which show that, after inflation, wages are forecast to be £1,520 lower in 2015 than in 2010.
The figures show that the average family is now earning today the same as they made in 2001.
Ms Green said: “Far from never having it so good, many working people have never had it so bad.”
