Stretford girl dances to award

A STRETFORD girl has won an award for her part in a dance group.
Cerise Minott, 10, a member of dance group Rejectz, won the Printworks Street Dancer 2013 prize.
Cerise, is one of seven members of Rejectz who train at Studio 25 based in the Northern Quarter, Manchester.
Rejectz battled it out in the grand final against eight other acts competing to win £1000 and the opportunity to perform at Manchester’s Christmas light switch on in Albert Square in November.
Cerise, who is delighted they won, said: “We’re so pleased we won the competition as we can now use the prize money to pay for us to travel up to Glasgow for the UDO World Street Dance Championships at the end of August.”
Celebrity judge Nathan Gordon choreographer and member of dance group Flawless who got to the finals of Britain’s Got Talent, was also blown away by the winner’s performance.
