TRAFFORD Housing Trust’s running team raised more than £1000 for charity at this year’s Manchester’s BUPA 10k.
After practising every Wednesday at Ashton Park in the build-up to the run, all 25 members of staff completed the course, raising money for the trust’s charity of the year - Henshaws Society for Blind People .
Henshaws has a base in Old Trafford and provides care, advice and training to anyone affected by sight loss.
Matthew Gardiner, chief executive of Trafford Housing Trust, said: “Thank you to everyone who sponsored us for this year’s Manchester BUPA 10K – the training paid off and we were able to enjoy what is a fantastic event.
“Henshaws do very important work across Trafford and we are proud to be supporting them throughout the year.”
