The Easter weekend saw the traditional Rivington Pike Race with 16 of Chorley’s runners venturing on to its steep slopes.
Chorley youngsters Lemoni Truran finished 11th girl in the under-8s race.
First back for Chorley seniors was Dominic Raby having a superb run to finish 24th.
Team mates Darren Fishwick and Hasan Khattab helped to secure the 2nd Vet team prize.
Next back were Paul Wareing and Paul Jackson in 99th and 100th respectively, followed not far behind by William Beckett and Andrew Clough. Nicola Raby was Chorley’s first lady back.
Elsewhere on the fells at Pendle Hill, one of largest fells in Lancashire, 12 Chorley runners enjoyed themselves at the recent fell race. The senior races involves two climbs of Pendle Hill, which seemed to suit Michael Chalfont who finished in 28th place overall. Adam Sciacca celebrated his 18th birthday with a 49th position.
On the road at Blackpool in the Marathon Joe Duckworth had an excellent run and finished 10th overall.
Joe used this race as preparation for Ironman Qeulle Roth Challenge in Germany and Ironman Wales.
