A TEENAGER was knocked off his bicycle by a school bus this morning.


The incident took place close to the junction of Northenden Road and Wardle Road, in Sale Moor, at around 8.30am.


The 14-year-old was not said to be seriously hurt in the accident, but was dazed and treated by paramedics for an injury to his right arm.


He was taken to Wythenshawe Hospital on a spinal board as a precaution.
The yellow bus was seen parked in a bus stop further along Northenden as the boy was being treated.


Police placed a temporary road closure on Wardle Road and Hope Road, but traffic is said to be moving again.

The boys life was saved by his helmet, his helmet got a big hole in it after the incident.
