Altrincham and Bowdon Civic Society objects to supermarket plan

ALTRINCHAM and Bowdon Civic Society is objecting to Asda’s plan to open a supermarket in Broadheath.

The society claims the store - earmarked for a site between Atlantic Street and George Richards Way - will hit shops in Altrincham town centre.

The deadline for commenting on the scheme - planning application 79984/FULL/2013 - has been extended to March 28.

Altrincham town centre is finished. One can try and reverse the decline, but you are flogging a dead horse.
