FIVE middle aged ‘lads’, led by 52-year-old Graham Park, are having their legs waxed by ladies from Total Body Care at the Fox and Hounds pub, Woodsend Road, Urmston on Sunday, March 24 from 2 pm.
Sponsor money will go towards Dreamflight, the charity which takes sick and disabled children on holiday to Florida.
Graham got the idea when his wife, Julie who works at Manchester Airport, was chosen to accompany 192 children on the holiday last year.
There will be a DJ and, for children, face painting and a bouncy castle.
Lots of prizes, including a meal at Las Iguanas at the Trafford Centre and a £25 meat voucher from John Howarth, the butcher, can be won in a grand raffle.
Football fans can bid for a signed Robin Van Persie Manchester United shirt or a signed David Silva Manchester City shirt in an auction.
Admission free.
