Young artists receive their prizes
TALENTED winners of a schools art competition roganised by the Altrincham Rotary Club proudly display their prizes.
Youngsters were asked to take photos of builldings or nature around their schools and the entries were judged by a photographic society panel.
The photos were displayed for a week at Hale Library.
The schools were invited to the Cresta Court Hotel for a prize giving event attended by teachers, parents and pupils of the schools.
The prizes awarded were art products including pens/pencils and drawing equipment from Staedtler.
They presented by their area manager Graham Harrison (back row left) and Rotary president John Edwards. Participating schools included Bollin, Cloverlea, Navigation and Oldfield Brow primary schools.
