Group aims to tidy up Timperley

TIMPERLEY is getting ready for a spring clean – with a number of volunteers coming together on March 31 for their first litter pick in the village.
A group of residents have formed the Timperley Tidiers who aim to tidy-up numerous litter spots across the area.
Volunteers will meet in Thorley Lane Car Park at 2pm and pick up litter until 4pm.
Timperley Tidiers coordinator Helen Guest said: “This clean-up will show others that we care about our village and are not prepared to put up with rubbish any longer.”
Sainsbury’s Local in Timperley is sponsoring the event by providing refreshments and Easter eggs for all volunteers who take part and these will be served in the Larkhill Centre.
