MARIE Curie Cancer Care's fundraising groups will be distributing the charity’s iconic daffodil badges throughout March.

The appeal asks people to make a donation to the charity in return for a daffodil pin.

Anne-Marie Wynne, community fundraiser said: "We would love every one across Sale, Altrincham, Urmston and Stretford to support us by donating to Marie Curie and wearing a daffodil badge this March.

"You will see our fantastic fundraising group in supermarkets across the area each weekend until April, so please help us to make this years Daffodil Appeal the greatest yet, and raise as much money as possible so terminally ill people can have the support of a Marie Curie nurse."
