Trafford talk on the 'Lost World of Longford Park'

TRAFFORD’S local studies library in Sale is hosting a special, free evening talk - Discovering the “Lost World of Longford Park” on Wednesday, March 20 (7.15pm start).

Presented by researcher Richard Bond the talk will include fascinating photos and maps, including a highly detailed 1881 map, which will show a rare example of the ornamental lake.

Ahead of the talk, a fascinating photographic exhibition, dating back to the official park opening in May 1912, starts on Saturday, March 2 in the foyer at Sale Waterside, and Ccontinues until March 28.
